KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Monday directed Education Department to make arrangements for education of Ahmed Mashori (of Cadet College Larkana) in Karachi.
He issued these directive just after meeting Ahmed Mashori who along with his father and younger sisters called on the chief minister here at CM House to thank him for sending him abroad for the treatment of his fractured throat.
Ahmed Mashori who seemed to be quite healthy and confident thanked the Sindh government for his treatment abroad.
He requested the CM that he wanted to continue his education but in Karachi. On this Murad issued directives to the Education Department to make necessary arrangements for Ahmed’s education.
Four relatives of the student of VIII grade had accused last year in November that the principal and house master of the institution tortured the boy so badly on Aug 10 that he fell unconscious and badly injured.
The chief minister urged Ahmed Mashori, the young boy, to forget the past and start new life that Almighty Allah has given to him. “I am sure one day you would shine your name and name of your parents also,” he hoped.
He also presented a bouquet of flower to Ahmed and wished him best of luck.
Father of Ahmed Mashori also told Murad that girls’ primary school in Mashori Sharif, Larkana, was closed. Then and there, the chief minister issued directives to Minister Education to make the girls school functional and report him.
