Sabri's family to get Rs 10m compensation

The CM Sindh directed finance secretary to immediately give cheque to the qawwal’s family.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had also announced a Rs10 million grant as financial support for the family of Sabri.

The PM also said the federal government will bear the educational expenses of Sabri’s children.

“The Loss of Amjad Sabri at the hands of coward terrorists is a loss of whole pakistan. His contribution through promotion of love and tolerance all around the world is unmatched and unparalleled in recent times. People of Pakistan loved him and will remember him as a goodwill ambassador of Pakistan around the world,” the PM had said in a statement.
