While talking to the participants, the COAS said, “The history of Pakistan Army bears testimony to the fact that its men have displayed unprecedented resolve, dedication and sacrifices for the defence of motherland”.
Gen Sharif said that exceptional performance of the ‘Battle Axe Division’ in Indo-Pak wars and its contributions in the ongoing ‘War on Terror’ amply substantiates its phenomenal standing as a fighting entity.
He said that the victories at Khem Karan and Hussainiwala sector speak volume of valour displayed by all ranks associated with the division.
