Communist Party of China delegation calls on Bilawal

ISLAMABAD: A delegation of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC) on Sunday called on Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

The delegation led by H.E. Wang Yajun Assistant Minister and included Mr Zhang Xuyi Deputy Director General, Mr Libin Director Policy Research Office, Mr Hu Xiaodong Deputy Director.

Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing, Mr Mei Jing and officials from Chinese Embassy were also present in meeting.

PPP leaders present included Nayyer Hussain Bukhari, Senator Sherry Rehman, Senator Farhatullah Babar, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar and Faisal Karim Kundi.

They discussed a range of issues and other aatters of mutual interest, the China Pakistan Economic Corrdior (CPEC) and party-to-party relations.

The Chinese Communist Party delegation also invited a PPP delegation to visit China. Bilawal later also hosted a reception for the Chinese delegation.
