Court adjourned Article-6 trial against Musharraf

ISLAMABAD: The special court headed by Justice Faisal Arab on Tuesday adjourned the proceedings of the Article-6 case against former president Pervez Musharraf till Wednesday (tomorrow), ARY News reported.

Defence counsel Barrister Farogh Naseem started cross examination of Interior Secretary Shahid Khan.

Defence counsel asked the Interior Secretary, who has been complainant of the case, who ordered him to register the case against Pervez Musharraf. Interior Secretary Shahid Khan said that a letter was received from the Prime Minister House, after which an inquiry was conducted and the complaint was registered against the former military ruler.

On another question about the letter the complainant replied that he has an attested copy of the original letter.

The cross examination of the interior secretary will be continued in the hearing of the trial on tomorrow.
