According to details, Additional Session Judge, Nadeem Ansari conducted the hearing of a petition filed by Aftab Virk Advocate, in which the petitioner took the stance that Hamid Mir, upon the consent of Mir Shakil and Mir Ibrahim, wrote numerous essays and columns which were aimed at defaming the Pakistan Army.
The petitioner said that writing such columns is against the national integrity and is tantamount to rebellion. He requested the court to order an action against Mir Shakil, Mir Ibrahim, Hamid Mir and others.
At this, the court, for not presenting the above mentioned accused before it, ordered for an action against the concerned SHO and issued non-bailable arrest warrants of Mir Shakil, Mir Ibrahim and Hamid Mir.
The court ordered the police to arrest the accused and produce before it on September 25.
