Justice Shahid Waheed had approved a petition filed by a medical student for hearing, in which the petitioner contended that four medical colleges have fixed a quota and fees for overseas students.
However, a notification has been issued against the rules and regulations of the colleges, which has doubled the fees for overseas students, he stated.
The student moved the court to nullify the notification of the hike.
The court while suspending the notification issued notices to relevant authorities and adjourned the case for two weeks.
