PESHAWAR: The second phase of survey in adjoining areas of Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport started after completion of the first phase, ARY News reported on Thursday.
The survey of the residents of the localities in surrounding of the Peshawar airport was started after gun attack on a PIA flight during landing, in which a woman passenger was killed and two crew members were injured.
After the attack Peshawar police prepared a security plan under which it was decided to collect data of the population adjoining to the airport and adjacent to Khyber tribal agency.
Under the survey finger prints of all members of the families, above 14 years, also being collected.
The data of around 7200 families has been collected in Badhbir area adjacent to the airport in the first stage of the survey.
