Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor recently starred in Tamasha, which did gross a decent amount at the box office but received mix reviews. However, throughout the shoot of the film, during its promotions and after the release, Deepika and Ranbir grew quite close to each other. Media reports were rife regarding Katrina Kaif being upset with Ranbir for hanging out so much and working closely with his former girlfriend.
Kat laid the rumours to rest when she revealed in an interview to GQ magazine that she felt ‘unhappy’ over Ranbir working with Deepika but said she couldn’t do much about it. This is what Katrina had said:-
“I can’t enforce my will on the people in my life. Their choices are their own. I may not be happy with them but I hope that as they mature or as they evolve, their choices will change!”
Deepika finally reacted to Katrina’s statement and said:-
“I don’t read between the lines. I take people at face value,” said the Bajirao Mastani actress.
