Delivery boy's shocking act caught on camera

MICHIGAN: A delivery boy was caught on camera stuffing a pizza back into the box after dropping it on the customer’s porch in Michigan, US.  

According to the details, Rodney King Jr and his wife ordered a pizza from a renowned delivery service. The couple happened to have their eye on the security camera at the time of the delivery.

In the CCTV footage, the delivery boy can be seen walking up to the porch with a pizza in his hands. He was holding the box vertically, which is definitely not the right way to carry a pizza.

“When the guy was walking up to our porch, we saw that he was holding the pizza vertically, so from there I knew for a fact that the pizza was outside of the box,” Rodney told Fox 2.

The driver pulled the box out of the bag and that’s the moment disaster struck.

Instead of ringing the doorbell and telling King about what had happened, the driver picked up the pizza and stuffed it back into the box as neatly as he could. He then walked away.

“He picked up all the crumbs and everything and walked off,” Rodney said, adding that he hoping for an apology or a refund but he didn’t even get a call regarding the pizza. So, he filed a complaint with the delivery service, which led to the driver losing his job with the company.

“This inappropriate and unacceptable behavior is never tolerated on the company’s platform. The driver involved was immediately deactivated, and we have been in touch with the customer and fully refunded the order. We sincerely regret that this incident fell short of the experience we strive to provide every day,” the delivery service said in a statement.
