The case is ordered against airing of controversial morning show hosted by Shaista Lodhi a month ago in which manqabat (religious poetry) was played and participants including Ms Lodhi, Veena Malik and Asad Khattak danced on it.
A petition was filed by a citizen Mustafa Lashari. The court, while responding to the plea, ordered the police to register FIR against the nominated accused and report to the court.
Those who have been nominated in the petition are Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman, Shahista Lodhi, Veena Malik, her husband Asad Khattak and other people concerned with the transmission of the controversial programme.
