The film is being directed by Jake Kasdan and will released in 28th July 2017. It also stars comedians Kevin Hart and Jack Black along with Karen Gillian.
It is based on the 1995 original starring Robin Williams and Kirsten Dunst. The film had a slow opening on the box office but has now become a child-parent favorite and had left behind a legacy.
However it is now revealed that the film is not a reboot but rather a continuation of the events in the first film, and as a tribute to the memory of Robin Williams.
Now the first photo from the set has been released, and it is clear that this will be much different from the original Jumanji adaptation.
The professional wrestler also known for the Fast and Furious series said that he has fun working on the first day of shooting with the talent and ‘crazy motley crew’.
The film look interesting and is expected to be a great comedy. Dwayne Johnson is also currently working on Baywatch and Fast 8 which will also be released next year.
