14 injured in two cracker blasts in Lyari

The first blast took place in Singo Lane area whereas another occurred in Chakiwara, both areas of Lyari.
Among the injured are four women and six-year-old girl. They have been shifted to Civil Hospital. Five of the injured are said to be in critical condition.
The incident took place near a local hotel on a group of people returning from a wedding. Local gangsters threw the cracker blast and escaped from the scene.
Another blast occurred near a petrol pump in Chakiware with the remits of Rangiwara police station. This one several including eight-year-old child named Arman.
The situation in the area is sensitive where police are undergoing investigations. IG Sindh AD Khawaja had taken notice of the incident and sought a report in this regard.
