6 Pakistani artists who should worry after cross-border threat

The film workers association of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Friday has asked Pakistani artists to pack their bags and leave within the given timeframe.

The threat came from Amey Khopkar of MNS Chitrapat Sena after India accused Pakistan of being involved in an army base attack in held Kashmir that killed 18 soldiers.

Top Pakistani faces like Fawad Khan, Ali Zafar, Mahira Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Imran Abbas and Mawra Hocane are among other Pakistani artists who have been hopping in between Pakistan and India for work related engagements.

Fawad Khan

Beyond doubts, Bollywood is in love with Pakistani Khan. His good looks have mesmerised his audience, convincing producers and directors of his acting skills in India.

He is a part of Karan Johar’s film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ for which he is getting a lot of appreciation since its teaser was out recently.

Fawad Khan has also signed another film opposite Katrina Kaif that will be produced by Salman Khan.

Not only this, it is also in the news – though not confirmed – that he will be the first guest on the next season of ‘Koffee with Karan’.

 


Ali Zafar

This Pakistani actor-cum-singer has appeared Bollywood’s ‘Tere Bin Laden’ and ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ and his fans in India admire him for doing energetic roles.

Next, Ali Zafar will be seen in Gauri Shinde’s ‘Dear Zindagi’ that also stars Alia Bhatt and King Shah Rukh Khan.

Danyal Zafar – Ali Zafar’s younger brother – is also expected to make a debut in India under the banner of Yashraj Films.

 


Mahira Khan

Former VJ and drama serial ‘Humsafar’ famed Pakistani actress, Mahira Khan will be seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Raees’ – their upcoming Bollywood flick.

She is an established name in Pakistan but her appearance against King Khan too has made her name common in India. Her big-budget debut is set to release in January next year.

 


Rahat Fateh Ali Khan
