And the Bollywood stuntman-cum-actor is so confident of his upcoming movie that he has no fear of its going head-to-head with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ on big screen.
The controversy-draped Padmavati was originally slated for release on December 1, however following serious threats the film was indefinitely postponed and referred to Indian Central Board of Film Certification for strict scrutiny.
Now when it has been cleared by the censors after suggesting some modifications including a change in the movie title, it is feared that it will be released on January 26 in clash with Pad Man, which is set to be released on January 25.
However, Akshay Kumar is not at all worried about this clash. In fact, he has given open challenge to Padmavati.
” Neither I am going to change release date of my flick for this reason nor I have any fear of Padmavati’s releasing on January 26 and I am all ready for it,” he said.
There has been no official announcement of Padmavati’s release date so far.
