Army chief appreciates role of Sindh Regiment in defence, security

RAWALPINDI: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday visited Sindh Regimental Centre, Hyderabad, and commended the contributions of Sindh Regiment in defence and security of Pakistan.

Upon arrival the COAS laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada to pay homage to martyrs of Sindh Regiment for defence of the motherland.


COAS also pinned ranks to Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza as Colonel Commandant of the Sindh Regiment. The ceremony was attended by large number of serving and retired officers and soldiers of Sindh Regiment.

Earlier, on arrival at Hyderabad, the Army chief was received by Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Shahid Baig Mirza.
