ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Monday said “Mian Sahib is high profile personality, we are not.”

The former president said this in his reply to a journalist, when he was asked about his sentiments by a newsman on sitting on the same chair which was once occupied by the erstwhile prime minister Sharif.

“Mian sahib is a high profile personality, we are not,” Zardari replied knowingly.

Earlier, accountability court judge Arshad Malik extended interim bail granted to Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur till April 16 in the fake bank accounts case.

At the outset of the hearing, Advocate Farooq H Naek, who represented the PPP leaders, had pointed to the overcrowded courtroom, asking the judge to grant the former president and his sister exemption from personal appearance to avoid this situation and ensure smooth trial in the case.
