KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has condemned arrest of ‘Dukhtran-e-Millat’ leader Asiya Andrabi in Indian-Occupied Kashmir.
The PPP chairperson in a statement warned that intimidation, torture and killings of innocent Kashmiris will not work.
“Legitimate struggle of people of held Kashmir for their inalienable right to self-determination has entered fourth generation and despite martyrdom of thousands of Kashmiris the movement continues with more vigor and valor,” he stated.
Bilawal demanded immediate release of Aaiya Andrabi and scores of other innocent Kashmiris who have been thrown behind bars to quell their struggle.
He said that PPP would continue political, diplomatic and moral support to the people of held-Kashmir for their legitimate right to self-determination.
Asiya Andrabi was arrested from her residence in Srinagar on Wednesday night. She has been jailed on many occasions including during the peak of unrest last year and released after few months.
