Bilawal threatens to launch movement for ‘early elections’

QUETTA: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday threatened to launch a movement for early elections if Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif does not accept his demands, ARY News reported.

Bilawal was reduced to tears as he visited the victims of the Police Training Centre attack at the Civil Hospital in which more than 60 people were killed after three terrorists stormed the building.

Later, while to media on he said that the PPP never step back from sacrificing their lives but the Sharif family is never willing to speak against terrorists. “I am the son of Benazir Bhutto. I am a victim of terrorism,” he added.

The PPP chairman said that incidents like Quetta police training attack takes place while Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan holds photo session with extremist organizations. He reiterated that Nisar resign for misusing his power as a federal minister.

Bilawal reminded that Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) had also demanded the provincial government’s resignation following the attack on Karachi Airport in 2014. He was of the view that terrorism could be eradicated from Pakistan if Sindh and Balochistan work in liaison.

He also said that he knows what the province is going through at the moment and is well aware of the situation prevailing in the province. He questioned why the Balochistan government is unable to protect the boundaries of the province.

He said that the party continued to chant ‘Pakistan Zindabad‘ slogans despite the extra-judicial killing of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and the assassination of Benazir Bhutto.

He added that Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan never misses a chance to hold a press conferences against Dr. Asim Hussain and Ayyan Ali, but never takes action against the terrorists.

While speaking about the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman, Bhutto said that Imran Khan is  problem “a puppet and the strings are in someone else’s hands.” He said that it he is not the professional and legend that he use to be and cannot even start a movement.

He called on the government to accept his demands which including the approval of the Panama Papers bill by 27th December or he will announce a long march.
