Caretaker govt extends summer vacations in Sindh
KARACHI: Caretaker Sindh government on Tuesday announced an extension in summer vacations in schools across the province, ARY News reported.
According to a notification issued by the Sindh education department, Caretaker Chief Minister Fazlur Rehman has approved a recommendation to extend summer vacations till July 31.
The education department had recommended the extension due to the general elections which are due to held on July 25 as the teachers will be performing duties during the polls.
It is pertinent to note here that this year, the vacations already commenced about two weeks earlier than their usual time and were about to end on July 16.
