He became viral as an agitated, annoyed and irate reporter for a local news channel. However, Chand Nawab’s career (and possibly prospects) got a little brighter when he was portrayed in a Bollywood movie by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The movie also featured Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles and is known as Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

The Pakistani journalist has appealed to Bollywood actor Salman Khan to provide him with compensation. According to Gulf News, Nawab thanked Bollywood actor and producer Salman Khan for featuring him in the movie and asked for a little compensation.

“I am very thankful to Salman bhai, who considered my character worthy enough to be given a role in his movie,” Nawab told Gulf News at the courtyard of Karachi Press Club (KPC). “I am a poor journalist and don’t want to deal with the legalities, but I expect Khan to give me a compensation for using me as an inspiration for a character,” Nawab said.

Chand Nawab became popular a few years ago when his video went viral on social media sites in Pakistan, such as YouTube and Facebook. The video shows him agitated when he is unable to finish his news bite as oncoming people block his view in front of the camera. An angry and frustrated Chand Nawab indulges in name-calling and heckling the people.

Let’s see whether or not Salman Khan will be able to comply with this request of Chand Nawab or not.
