CJ SHC’s son abducted in Karachi; CM orders security checks

KARACHI: Owais Shah, son of Chief Justice Sindh High Court (SHC) Sajjad Ali Shah, was abducted by unknown men here on Monday evening prompting Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah to order security checks across the city, ARY News reported.

According to the registrar SHC, Owais Shah had gone to a supermarket in Clifton after Iftar that four unknown men bundled him into a car and whisked away. Sources said the kidnappers were wearing police caps.

Taking notice of the incident, CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah ordered the law enforcement to place security checks across the megapolis.

Sources told that Owais Shah’s car was found abandoned near Punjab Chowrangi, however, there are no further clues about him as of yet.

Shah also happens to be a lawyer at the Sindh High Court.
