Criminals using arms with bogus licenses: Rangers

A spokesman of Rangers in a statement said that the bogus licenses were made to facilitate transfer of arms for targeted killings in the city.

Some arms dealers have also been involved in making of the bogus arms licenses, statement said.

Those possessing illegal arms or bogus licenses have been advised by the Rangers to surrender the same at the Rangers posts by April 30th. After the deadline legal action will be taken over possessing illegal arms and bogus licenses.

The violators could be handed upto 14 years jail sentence under the law.
