Delegation of France due in Pakistan to promote bilateral trade

ISLAMABAD: A delegation of France is due in Pakistan on Monday to promote bilateral relations in sectors of trade and investment.
According to details, an international organization of France, Mouvement des Entreprises de France (MEDEF), will be leading a delegation of 20 other French companies which is set to arrive in the federal capital today.
The delegation, on its visit four-day long visit, will be headed by the chairman of Pakistan-France Business Council.
The French delegation of 20 firms comprises representatives from the sectors of agriculture, agribusiness, construction, oil and gas, transport, water purification, energy and information technology.
The visit is being organized with the collective efforts of MEDEF, Pakistan-France Business Council, Pakistani embassy in France, French embassy in Pakistan and board of investment.
The group of investors will also visit Karachi and Lahore during their stay, and are expected to meet a number of representatives from private sector.
A thorough review of Pakistani market and a meeting with Pakistani Business Community are also on the agenda of French investors.
