ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Babar Awan on Saturday said exceptionally adroit people from different fields were being consulted to counter top challenges facing Pakistan.

Talking to media outside Bani Gala, he said open discussions in this regard were underway.

Laying out the course of actions the PTI government would take, Babar said PTI chief and prime minister-in-waiting Imran Khan would cut short billions of rupee non-development expenditures to lakhs.

“Unfortunately, I feel ashamed to say that the previous governments did not consider this fact, while this would be first priority of Imran Khan’s government,” he said.

He said following the transitional period, the government would right away get down to ground work.

The PTI leader said the entire world had set its eyes towards Pakistan for they hope not to rate it anymore with Uganda and Burundi.
