FC Balochistan recovers cache of arms, ammunition from Sibbi

RAWALPINDI: Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan has recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in suburbs of Sibbi, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday.

According to ISPR’s press release issued here today, FC Balochistan had confiscated cache of arms and ammunition during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Sibbi’s suburbs.

Recovered items include explosives, mortar shells, rockets, anti-tank mines and accessories used for explosions, reads ISPR’s statement.

Back in the month of March, this year, five terrorists were apprehended while six others had surrendered during Intelligence Based Operations conducted by security forces in different parts of Balochistan, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The military’s media wing said the operations were carried out in Quetta, Uch, Dera Bugti, Loralai, Pishin and Sibbi areas.

Huge cache of arms and ammunition including mines, prepared Improvised Explosive Devices, detonators, submachine guns and communication equipment recovered during the operations.
