First luxury hotel in space to welcome guests in 2022
TEXAS: Orion Span in collaboration with NASA announced its first luxury hotel in space promising guests an “out of the world experience.”

Deposits to stay in this incredible hotel are being taken and the space hotel will welcome its first guest in 2022. The Aurora Station luxury hotel will have two crew members and have room for six guests who will have a once-in-a-lifetime 12-day stay. Guests will not be able to stay there on a whim though, as they will need to go through three months of intensive training before they take off. The Aurora Station can cater six guests.
The Aurora Station is being built by Texan company Orion Span is being been built by Texas-based Orion Span which has a team with over 140 years of human space exploration experience with NASA.
Frank Bunger, chief executive officer and founder of Orion Span, said:
“Upon launch, Aurora Station goes into service immediately, bringing travelers into space quicker and at a lower price point than ever seen before, while still providing an unforgettable experience.”
He further added; “During their stay on Aurora Station, travelers will enjoy the exhilaration of zero gravity and fly freely throughout Aurora Station, gaze at the northern and southern aurora through the many windows, soar over their hometowns and take part in research experiments such as growing food while in orbit which they can take home with them as the ultimate souvenir.”
Deposits are already being accepted for future stays on the space hotel. The $80,000 is fully refundable, should applicants find themselves unable to rise to the full $9.5 million.
