Generally politicians are known for handling as well as stonewalling questions quite adroitly. But a few of them don’t really care this much about media backlash, and we have former chief minister Balochistan, Nawab Aslam Khan Raisani, who falls in this category.

The blunt politician surprised journalists by offering ‘no comments’ after inviting questions from them. An old video of former Raisani, has been doing the rounds on social media. The video had first surfaced in July 2011.

The video, now being shared by several twitter users, shows Khan patiently listening to all the reporters and even asks if there are more. However, it is his response that has left many ‘rolling on the floor laughing’.

Raisani hit national as well as international headlines when he, in 2010, played down a significance of educational degrees at a time when the fake degrees’ issue had become cynosure in the media.

“A degree is a degree, whether fake or genuine,” he said in the media interaction.

“[The fake degree issue] will not make any difference because I will reside in my own house whether the government remains or not.”
