According to food experts, you should defrost meat at room temperature. If you put cuts of meat in microwave then thinner edges start cooking while the thicker middle remains frozen.
Moreover, if your microwave is not rotating while cooking, it means that your food is getting uneven heat which could lead to grow poisonous bacteria in food.
Plastic containers are bad to microwave food in. Many plastics contain estrogen-like chemicals that can stick to your food when the plastic is heated and make you sick.
You need to thoroughly cook chicken to eliminate all bacteria in it including salmonella, while microwaves do not evenly cook all parts of the meat.
