Govt to change fate of underprivileged areas: CM Buzdar

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar here on Sunday said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led government to change the fate of underprivileged areas.   

 Talking to a group of legislators and office bearers of Pakistan PTI at his village, Barthi, CM Usman Buzdar said that people of South Punjab were ignored and trapped in the name of development in the past.

According to a statement issued from his office, CM Buzdar said, ” He has an eye on every development project of these areas and he himself will monitor their progress.”

The chief minister said that establishment of institute of cardiology at Dera Ghazi Khan would share the load of patients in the hospitals of Multan and Lahore.

He said, “Past rulers could not start second hospital in whole seven years but we have initiated another hospital in the 7th month.”

CM Buzdar further added that economic activities would be started in areas like Taunsa after constructions roads there which would ultimately bring happiness in the lives of local people.

“They are serving people without any vested interest and development projects are being devised after consultation with the elected members of the concerned areas,” the chief minister concluded.
