The Pyare Afzal actor Hamza Ali Abbasi, who has decided to stand by his leader Imran Khan after the latter’s decision to call off the November 2 protest has now come up to respond to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief’s critics.

“I fail to understand the criticism of U-TURN on IK  (Imran  Khan) for calling off the 2nd Nov Dharna. His demand from the start was “Resignation or Accountability”. Today IK managed to achieve in 4 days what was being delayed for 8 months and without this Dharna call,” the actor wrote on his official Facebook page.

The actor who claimed to pass through a jungle to reach Imran Khan’s residence ahead of the planned protest, questioned that if after the Supreme Court’s move, had Imran Khan gone ahead with the sit-in, it would  be labeled as a ‘Baghaawat (rebellion) to State?

‘A war of his ego? A move to take down the govt and try to be PM?’

It is pertinent to note here that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Tuesday announced to observe a ‘Thanksgiving Day’ in the federal capital on November 2 instead of a planned protest and sit-in.

The abrupt decision came after the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan on Tuesday began hearing a case into the ‘Panama Papers’ leaks and offered to form a commission to investigate revelations that Sharif’s children held offshore bank accounts.
