Havelian section of Hazara Motorway to be completed by December

ISLAMABAD: Havelian section of Hazara Motorway will be completed by December 18 this year, National Highway Authority told this while briefing Minister of State for Communications Murad Saeed during his visit to a site of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor route.

The minister of state said that completion of the CPEC was the top most priority of the government.

He said the CPEC was a highly important project in the history of the country and the government was responsible for ensuring provision of its benefits to common people.

Murad Saeed also inaugurated tree plantation campaign along the CPEC route by planting sapling at Hakla.

The minister of state was also briefed about retrieval of the land worth 220 million rupees from land mafia in Tarnol.

The stretch of motorway from Havelian passes through Abbottabad, Mansehra and Shinkiari, ending at Thakot.

It will have five tunnels -two at Abbotabad, one each at Battal, Karmong and Mansehra.
