Imran Khan lands in Karachi for September 6 rally

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Monday arrived in Karachi and visited the iconic Nishter Park where the party wants to hold a ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ rally on Tuesday, September 6.

During his visit to Nishter Park, Khan not only took Nawaz Sharif to task but also urged the public to make this rally successful to give a befitting reply to “those who divide people and raise Pakistan Murdabad (death to Pakistan) slogans.

Talking about the reference against him, he said that only people, through unity, can fight against corrupt institutions and corrupt people.

A number of other PTI leaders posted messages on party’s social media pages and urged people of Karachi to join them on this day, also celebrated as Defence Day in Pakistan.
