Imran Khan to take oath as PM before August 14: Naeemul Haque
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesman Naeemul Haque on Saturday told reporters that party chief Imran Khan will take oath as prime minister before August 14, ARY News reported.
Addressing media in the federal capital, the PTI spokesman said that he hopes the president will call an assembly session and Imran Khan will take oath as premier before Independence day.
“We are receiving messages from around the world, people want to see Imran Khan as premier so he can implement his master-plan,” said Naeemul Haque.
The PTI spokesman also claimed that his party would also form a government in Punjab as well and there would a “good news” regarding the development by Sunday.
He also denied rumours of any difference among party leaders upon distribution responsibilities and formation of provincial governments.
When asked if his party will approach disgruntled PML-N leader Chaudhry Nisar for forming government in Punjab, Naeemul Haque said his party has no such plans.
It is pertinent to note here that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has emerged as the largest political party in the country after the July 25 general elections, winning 115 of the 270 National Assembly seats on which the elections were held.
The party, however, is short of the 137 needed for simple majority and is trying to woo independents to join the party.
