SRINAGAR: Indian troops in the latest act of state terrorism martyred two more Kashmiri youth on Sunday in Pulwama district of India held Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian troops martyred the youth during search operation in a neighborhood of Pulwama district. The martyrs were identified as Shariq Ahmad of Gulzarpora and Showkat Ahmad of Mahind Bijbehara in Islamabad district.
The Indian authorities have suspended internet services in Pulwama district following the killings.
The killings triggered protests by people in Samboora and Tahab areas. Indian troops resorted to firing to disperse stone-throwing protesters. Over a dozen people were injured after troops fired pellet guns and tear-gas shells on protesters in Tahab and other areas of Pulwama district.
