Inside the world’s largest ice cream shop
UNITED KINGDOM: The world’s largest ice cream shop looks like something out of a storybook, surrounded by sweet treat-themed playgrounds from strawberry ‘waterfalls’ to mysterious trees that blow bubbles.
If Willy Wonka had gone into the ice cream business instead of chocolate, we reckon this would have been the parlor of his dreams!
Located in the U.K this Ice Cream Farm is tucked away in Tattenhall near Chester, offering everything you could want for a family day out with a difference.
It also happens to hold the Guinness World Record for being the world’s largest ice cream shop, a title it’s had since 2015.
It’s not just the 851 sqm size that makes this a bucket-list worthy shop either – unsurprisingly it serves up a plethora of ice cream flavors.
There are over 50 to choose from with all the classics you’d expect as well as a few surprises such as blackcurrant cheesecake, cherry cola, and marshmallow.
Not to mention the seemingly endless list of toppings to make the sweet treat of your dreams.
The parlor has plenty of seating as well as a children’s play area, making it ideal as a day out no matter what the weather.
The farm offers up plenty more activities for those who want a fun day out.
For a start, kids can get up close to real farm animals, or let off some energy in the soft play area Daisy’s Garden.
Kids can explore Honeycomb Canyon, an indoor sand and water play area, or indoor adventure play barn Crazy Daisy’s Fun Factory with thrilling games on offer.
Search for treasure in the Gemstone Cave sand pits, have a go on the Jelly Drop slide or put your adventure golf skills to the test at Strawberry Falls, a candy-themed mini golf course
There’s even the opportunity to try your hand at proper digging with real JCB construction diggers that let you scoop, turn and tip as if you’re on your own mini construction site.
Oh, and make sure to check out the Ice Cream Tree near the entrance, which releases bubbles every 30 minutes!
Meanwhile, thrill-seeking kids can race on quad bikes on the Silverstone Track, not to mention arcade The Loft offers plenty more action including a driving motion simulator, air hockey and even a dance floor.
