LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Monday night said that international media and establishment stands with his rival Nawaz Sharif for he can serve them for his personal financial interests, ARY News reported.

Addressing an election rally in Lahore, the PTI chief accused all parties “for toeing the international establishment’s line” by opposing him and his party.

He particularly criticised PML-N’s supreme leader Mian Nawaz Sharif for doing so to appease India and foreign powers.

“They (the international establishment and India) like Nawaz Sharif for they know he has assets abroad and will do everything to save it and can appease international establishment for the very reason,” said Imran Khan.

He also accused Nawaz Sharif of appeasing India and international establishment by attacking Pakistan’s army.

This was Imran Khan’s last election rally as the election campaign has formally ended tonight. The country will elect its representatives for national and provincial assemblies on July 25.
