Istanbul citizen displays Beware sign in wake of Kathua rape case

ISTANBUL: The barbaric incident that took place in Kathua in India held Jammu and Kashmir has disturbed the entire world after an eight-year-old girl was held captive raped and murdered in a small village temple.

Following the incident, not only people of the subcontinent but people from all over the world have united to fight for justice for the 8-year-old Asifa Bano.

The safety of women in India is being questioned all over the globe and this took a new turn when a man was seen sporting a beware sign in the Istanbul Airport on Monday.

He was seen wearing a shirt with a message behind saying,

“Beware in sending your females to India, #JusticeforAsifa.”

The girl was sexually assaulted repeatedly and then murdered. Eight people including a juvenile, four police officers, and a retired government official were involved in the horrific incident.

The case received massive support from the public who staged protests in various parts of India demanding justice for the girl.
