In a totally weird and unusual phenomenon, people in Malta saw hundreds of live fish fall upon them along with raindrops.
A video uploaded on NewsFlare shows people collecting fish during a huge storm in the island.
Reports in international media suggest that the powerful winds may have broken some fish farm and threw these fish directly in the island.
The filmer can be heard commenting: “One of the fish farms must have broke open, and there’s hundreds and hundreds of fish that have been blown ashore, and these people are here picking up the fish from the middle of the street. “This is why we are nice and safe inside the Land Rover!”
Back in the year 2017, fish fell from sky during rain with citizens or authorities having no plausible explanation of the phenomenon.
Civil defence officials in Mexico had reported that light rain was accompanied by small fish that fell from the sky.
Tamaulipas civil defense said in a brief statement that rain in the coastal city of Tampico included fish. Photos and video posted on the agency’s Facebook page show four small fish in a bag and another on a sidewalk.
