SRINAGAR: A group of Kashmiri students raised Pakistan flag and slogans to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence day in India-Occupied Kashmir, Indian media reports said.
According to Indian media reports, a group of students staged a pro-Pakistan demonstration outside Srinagar’s Islamia College of Science and Commerce and raised slogans related to Pakistan’s Independence day.

A video posted on social media shows a group of masked men raising Pakistan flag with the pro-freedom slogan “Pakistan se rishta kya, La Ilaha IL Allah,” which means the religious bond connects Kashmir with Pakistan.
It is pertinent to note here that Pakistan has always lent moral and diplomatic support to Kashmir’s freedom struggle from India and have recognised their right to self determination.
Indian occupation has seen numerous human rights violations till today. A report released by UN Human Rights Council in June, stated that Indian troops are responsible for some 145 unlawful killings only between January 2016 and April 2018.
