A roadside bomb in Kamarsar area of tehsil Mamond in Bajaur Agency exploded when the personnel of Levies force passing through the area. A personnel of Levies was killed in the incident and another injured, security sources said.
The injured security man was immediately transferred to hospital for medical attendance.
Police launched a search operation after the incident and detained scores of suspects.
