Marvel Heroes developer Gazillion Entertainment has announced that online multiplayer role playing game Marvel Heroes Omega is coming to PS4.
The game allows famous characters like Hulk, Ghost Rider, Black Widow, Captain America and Iron Man was previously available only on PC and Mac, but will now be available on consoles.
David Lee, Community Manager at Gazillion, made the announcement on a blog post and said that Marvel Heroes Omega does not fall into typical genre categories.
“It draws inspiration from both action-RPGs and MMOs, making it a truly unique blend of non-stop action and near limitless progression,” he exclaimed.
The game allows players a ‘good chance’ to play as their favorite Marvel Super Hero, as it has one of the largest rosters of playable heroes from all corners of the Marvel Universe.
“Play as Spider-Man, the Avengers, the Defenders, the Inhumans, the X-Men, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and so many more,” he said and likely to excite prospective players.
Players who are lovers of lore can also expect a fantastic tour through famous locations, from the dark streets of Hell’s Kitchen to the mystical realm of Asgard.
The game includes a nine-chapter story campaign where players will also face off against some of Marvel’s most infamous Super Villains, including Doctor Doom and Loki.
Lee said that finishing the story is just the beginning, and like many online games, Marvel Heroes Omega is best played with others as players can join forces with fellow super heroes to tackle most challenging end-game content.
Marvel Heroes Omega is a dream for players with so many great Super Heroes, locations, stories, missions, modes, features, and literally thousands of hours of replayability.
The exact date for the launch has not been announced yet but closed beta version is expected soon.
