CHINIOT: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday said that Nawaz Sharif has only remembered parliament after being ousted from power.

Speaking to media in Chiniot, the PPP chairman said that Nawaz Sharif is determined to repeal Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution, but it is not feasible for him to return to parliament at this moment.

Mian Sahab never came to parliament when he was in power. Now he has remembered parliament when he has been ousted,” he said.

Bilawal hailed the success of the political gathering on Saturday and announced to hold the next one in Attock. “Punjab belongs to Bhutto,” he said.

He said that Nawaz Sharif wants to play the role of opposition while being in power, and is attempting to discredit and make the verdict of the Supreme Court as controversial.

“We support democracy, not Nawaz Sharif,” he said adding that PPP will not stand together with a disqualified person who is underming national institutions after his ouster.

Bilawal strongly condemned the horrific terror incident in Quetta and the loss of precious lives. He said the PML-N has failed to eliminate terrorism.

He termed the failure of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his party to implement the National Action Plan in its true spirit as the cause of the increase terrorism which is being borne by the people of the country.
