Nawaz Sharif to pay for his family’s illegal helicopter usage, says Fawad Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry on Friday said that former premier Nawaz Sharif and his family members spent at least Rs25million from national kitty by using state helicopter and planes for personal errands, ARY News reported.

Addressing media in Islamabad, the minister claimed that the Sharif family members including Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Hussain and Hassan Nawaz used state chopper and planes for personal errands so the government has decided to send the bill to former PM Nawaz Sharif.

“We have decided to send the bill of this illegal usage to Nawaz Sharif. We will be sending notices to Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Hassan Nawaz Sharif and Hussain Nawaz Sharif in this regard,” announced Fawad Chaudhry.

About RTS’ failure

Speaking on the occasion, Senator Azam Swati demanded to remove Chairman NADRA immediately and investigate failure of Results Transmission system (RTS) in General Elections 2018.

Swati said NADRA is responsible for the failure of RTS and said it was intentionally stopped to make elections controversial.
