Naya Pakistan to reflect dream of Jinnah, Iqbal: CM Buzdar
LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, on the eve of International Anti Corruption Day, said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has resolved to end corruption in every sector and added that Naya Pakistan will reflect the dream of Allam Iqbal and the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The chief minister said that PTI has come to power to uproot corruption and added that there is no place for corrupt people in ‘Naya’ Pakistan.
The zero tolerance policy for corruption has been adopted, said CM Buzdar and added that they will transform Pakistan into a corruption free state under the leadership of PM Imran.
Terming corruption treason with nation, Punjab CM urged every segment of society to work for the elimination of corruption.
He said that corruption has badly damaged the roots of Pakistan and added that corruption is a social injustice. The chief minister said that corruption has spread disappointment and unrest in the country and maintained that corrupt people loot the rights of the people.
He said the purpose of this day is to create awareness about the importance of eliminating corruption. “This is the day to renew resolve to eliminate corruption from the society. We have to resolve that we will end corruption and move forward with honesty”, he concluded.
