BHAKKAR: A ninth-grade student who had gone missing four days back was found dead after sexual assault in Layyah district on Saturday, ARY News reported.
According to police, the body of the boy was found from a water canal in Layyah district four days after he went missing.
An FIR of the crime has been registered under murder and sexual assault charges while three men have also been taken into custody by the police on suspicion of their involvement in the felony.
Separately, four men allegedly sexually abused a woman on the outskirts of Hafizabad on Friday night, according to the police. One of the suspects has been taken into custody.
The woman hired a rickshaw to buy medicines from a market nearby but the driver took her to an empty place where she was sexually assaulted.
