Plan devised for Nishtar Hospital II in Multan: CM Punjab

LAHORE:  Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Tuesday presided over separate meetings of members of the provincial assembly belonging to Multan and Sahiwal divisions at Punjab Assembly.

Addressing the meetings, the chief minister said that said that he is well aware of problems of South Punjab and and added that practical steps will be taken instead of indulging in any lip service.

“A plan has been devised to start Nishtar Hospital-II in Multan. I will personally monitor the field situation by visiting divisional headquarters after the budget session and a meeting of the Punjab Assembly will also be held in Multan,” said the CM.

He added that number of arazi centers (land record centers) will be increased and added that arazi centers are being devolved to the level of kanogoi to facilitate the people.

“In the first phase, 102 arazi centers will be established along-with 20 mobile arazi centers to serve in far-flung areas of the province,” said the CM.

Usman Buzdar was of the view that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision and mission of building a new Pakistan will only materialise when all the members of his party work together.

“Solution of problems at the doorsteps of the people is the manifesto of the PTI and every possible step will be taken in this regard,” said Buzdar.

Talking to the women legislators, the chief minister said that PTI government will provide equal opportunities to women for their empowerment adding that women parliamentarians have played an unforgettable role in the political struggle.

Implementation on the proposals put forth by the women parliamentarians will be examined and womenfolk will be given their due status in the society.

The women parliamentarians should play their proactive role so that a meaningful change could be ensured in the society, he added.

Different parliamentarians apprised the chief minister about their problems and gave proposals for their solution.

Senior minister Abdul Aleem Khan, provincial ministers, chief secretary, ACS, IG police and secretaries attended the meeting.
