Noorul Haq Qadri underscores need for implementation of modern technology

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Dr Noorul Haq Qadri on Saturday stressed on the need for implementation of modern technology for development of education sector.

“No nation can make progress without getting excellence in education sector,” Dr Noorul Haq Qadri said while addressing a function in Landi Kotal, Khyber district.

He said efforts were being made to recruit 4,000 more teachers in tribal schools.

Meanwhile, he inaugurated ‘Clean and Green Pakistan Plantation Campaign’ by planting a sampling in the area.

Later, the federal minister also visited the district headquarters hospital in the area and inquired about the facilities being provided to the patients.

On April 11, Noorul Haq Qadri had urged religious scholars to play their role for promoting unity and harmony in the society, Radio Pakistan had reported.

This he had said while speaking in a certificates distribution ceremony of Dawah Academy in the federal capital.

He had underlined the need of a coherent training system for betterment of the society.

Qadri had also emphasised the need for refraining from the way of violence and hatred to achieve the goal of prosperity and tranquility.

Noorul Haq Qadri had said clerics should help people in resolution of the issues being faced by them, in the light of true teachings of Islam. “Ulema have a role to play for maintaining lasting peace and protection of the homeland”, he had continued.
