Pak-China ties enter new strategic phase: Fawad Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD: Declaring the accord with China very significant, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that Pakistan-China ties have entered a new strategic phase.

Talking to journalists in Karachi, Fawad Chaudhry said that China is a time-tested fried of Pakistan and it always supported Islamabad. He said they will send first astronaut in the space in collaboration with China.

The minister vowed that the PTI government will make Pakistan economically stable. He claimed that the PTI eliminated negative politics from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and added that their party under the leadership of Imran Khan eradicated the ethnic politics from Sindh.

He alleged that the Sindh government was politically victimizing PTI’s legislators in the province. Fawad Chaudhry said that PTI will take two-third majority from Sindh in the next elections.

He ruled out the possibility of governor rule in Sindh, saying that they will come in power through democratic procedure.  Fawad Chaudhry slammed Pakistan Peoples Party for bad governance in Sindh.

While talking about countrywide protests after the acquittal of Asia Bibi, Fawad Chaudhry said that the state will not forgive the inciting speeches made by different leaders during protests. He termed the speeches rebellion and added that the state will not avoid it.

Government avoided the option of police operation to escape loss, he concluded.
