Pakistan, British air chiefs attend PAF Academy Risalpur passing out parade
RISALPUR: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Academy’s graduate passing out parade ceremony held here on Friday, Air Chief Marshal Suhail Aman and British Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Sir Stephen Hillier participated in the event, ARY News reported.
British CAS Sir Stephen Hillier was the chief guest of 118th combat support course graduate ceremony.
Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman along with British counterpart witnessed the passing out parade of PAF cadets.
The British CAS awarded badges to passing out cadets of the air force by congratulating them on completion of the course. He also lauded the efforts of Pakistan Armed Forces in countering terrorism.
Addressing the ceremony, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman said that Pakistan and Britain have strong ties for decades while asserting that Pakistan Air Force was capable to deal with any kind of challenge.
The passed out include nine women among 43 cadets belonging to Medical, Engineering, Information Technology (I.T) and Logistics fields.
